Good design should make everyday routines a little more enjoyable.

Created as part of a loft conversion for a growing family, this new children's bathroom was designed to give the kids a space of their own that felt practical, full of natural light and, most importantly, fun.

A generous rooflight and high-level window fill the room with daylight throughout the day, while a walk-in shower, bespoke storage and durable materials make the space easy to use as the family grows.

The design takes inspiration from the parents' love of bold 1980s colours and playful interiors, combining vibrant finishes with carefully considered detailing to create a bathroom full of personality without feeling overwhelming.

The result is a space that works hard every day but never takes itself too seriously.

As the clients told us afterwards, "The children absolutely love it" — which is perhaps the best measure of success for a family bathroom.
